Moments Like This by Anna Gomez and Kristoffer Polaha

Moments Like This by Anna Gomez and Kristoffer Polaha is a wonderful new novel that I was privileged to read. While there were many great themes running through the novel, the two that spoke to me were  the necessity of living in the moment and to enjoy the beauty all around us. The novel takes place in Hawaii and the description of the island was fabulous.  I would also suggest you have coffee to drink, because they speak about coffee as if it is part of the love story and it is!

Andie Matthews living the on the go business life realizes that she needs a break.  She leaves Chicago for Hawaii to help her bestie run her coffee shop on the beach.  There she realizes that the business really needs her help.  She undertakes that while working on find her new way forward.  Andie starts to stretch her learning to include understanding about coffee and all of its stages of growth and production.  It is at this stage you will need to make yourself some coffee, because you can almost smell and taste it.

Then she meets Warren Yates and together they start to move toward friends and…. But you know there is more to Warren than what meets the eye.  And soon you are really sure!!  What a lovely twist.

The book is a wonderful read.  I love how parts of the book are written in each of their voices.  I love how they go on a series of explorations of Hawaii.  Quite frankly each of those sections actually made me consider wanting to go there!  I love the circular tie in at the end - but that is what you will need to discover.   Moments Like This by Anna Gomez and Kristoffer Polaha is a great read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Xpresso Tours. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I am reading Firefly Lane so I can watch the show on Netflix. Bow library does not have HAnnah’s Four Winds yet, tried to get on list. Like most of her stories.
